Stringers Bridge Upstream

Please note: there is no exit from the river upstream of Stringers Bridge. You will need to return to Stringers Bridge to leave the river or head downstream to Barnetts Road.

Walking permitted. Please consider the weather before setting out as the river can rise rapidly with little or no warning.

Fishing permitted.

Horse riding permitted.

Cycling permitted.

Motor vehicle restrictions. Access is permitted without seeking permission from the land owners provided that:

• Vehicle access is limited to the first weekend of each month during daylight hours (organised clubs may have extra trips by landowner approval)
• Small groups only
• Vehicles must be road licensed
• Vehicles must remain in the riverbed, follow a single track, and avoid driving up the main stream of the river
• No mud plugging
• No camping, no fires, no shooting, no dogs, and no rubbish
• Vehicles using the riverbed do so at their own risk
• Landowners will not accept liablity of any kind for vehicles accessing the river, nor guarantee to be be able to assist with vehicle recovery should it be necessary
• Please consider the weather before setting out as the river can rise rapidly with little or no warning
• Please remember that in sections of the river you are on private property. Please respect property rights at all times
• The landowners reserve the right to remove access rights at any time with no notice if these conditions are not adhered to
  

Dogs on or off leashes not permitted under any circumstances.

Camping not permitted.

Fires not permitted.

Hunting or the use of firearms including air rifles not permitted.
